The next step is
a conversation.

The Executive Transition Strategy Session is a 45-minute structured diagnostic with a senior Elevate Career Career Strategy Advisor. It is not a sales call. It is not a discovery session. It is a genuine strategic conversation — one that ends with a clearer picture of your situation, your options, and the most intelligent next move available to you from where you are today.

You leave the session with a concrete output: a one-page Transition Risk and Opportunity Map, prepared during the conversation and sent to you within 24 hours. Whether or not you proceed to a full engagement, that document is yours.

What happens in the Strategy Session

The session is structured. It has a clear agenda, specific objectives, and a defined output. It is designed to produce genuine strategic value in 45 minutes regardless of what happens next.

01

Situation mapping 15 minutes

A structured review of where you are: your current or most recent role, the circumstances of the transition you are navigating, the specific challenges you are encountering, and the timeline you are working within. Not a biography — a precise situational assessment.

02

Capital and positioning audit 10 minutes

A rapid assessment of your current positioning: how you are presenting yourself to the market, how the market is likely reading that presentation, and where the most significant gaps exist. This is the section where honest outside perspective produces its most immediate value.

03

Option identification 10 minutes

A structured identification of the two or three most strategically intelligent options available to you from where you currently stand — not necessarily the ones you came in with. This is the section that most consistently produces a shift in how executives see their situation.

04

Next move and output 10 minutes

A clear statement of the single most valuable next move available to you in the next 30 days. Followed by the preparation of the Transition Risk and Opportunity Map — a one-page strategic document capturing key findings, positioning gaps, and the three highest-priority actions.

The session produces real strategic value whether or not you proceed to a full engagement. The output document is yours. The perspective is honest. The time is not wasted.

Setting the right expectation

We are direct about this because clarity at the beginning produces better conversations than ambiguity.

Not a sales call.

There is no pitch at the end of this session. No proposal. No pricing presentation. No follow-up pressure. The session exists to be useful to you. If you decide to proceed to a full engagement, that conversation happens separately, on your timeline.

Not a coaching taster session.

This is not a sample of what a coaching relationship feels like. It is a standalone strategic diagnostic. The value is in the output, not in the relationship preview.

Not a test.

You are not being assessed for suitability during this session. Once you are in the room, the advisor's entire focus is on your situation.

Not a commitment.

Attending this session commits you to nothing beyond the 45 minutes. If at the end of the session you decide that an Elevate Career engagement is not the right next step for you, that is a completely legitimate outcome. The document is still yours.

Before you book

The Strategy Session is designed for a specific type of executive at a specific moment. The clearer you are about whether this is the right step, the more useful the session will be.

If all of these are true for you →

You are operating at or near C-suite level, navigating a genuine inflection point

You are prepared to invest seriously in the quality of your next chapter, not just the speed of it

You are open to being challenged on the narratives you have been telling yourself about your own situation

You understand that the most valuable transitions are built deliberately, not found accidentally

You are ready to commit the time, energy, and investment the work requires

This may not be the right fit if →

— You are primarily looking for a faster way to activate your existing job search

— You want someone to manage the process for you without engaging deeply yourself

— You are not yet ready to question the approach you have been taking

— You need clinical or psychological support as the primary intervention

— You are exploring options casually rather than at a genuine decision point

What a full engagement looks like

Structure

Three sequential phases: Strategic Clarity, Market Positioning, and Activation and Landing. Each phase has defined objectives and specific deliverables. The phases build on each other in sequence.

Duration

Most engagements run for six months or more. Some run longer. The engagement does not end on a predetermined date — it ends when the transition is complete and the executive is settled in their next chapter.

Format

Regular structured sessions with your dedicated Career Strategy Advisor, complemented by direct access between sessions for time-sensitive questions and decisions. Remote-first, with occasional in-person engagement depending on geography.

Investment

Discussed in the Strategy Session, not published on the website. The investment reflects the seniority of the engagement, the complexity of the situation, and the duration required. It is significant. It is proportional to the value of the outcome.

The investment in an Elevate Career engagement is not a cost. It is the most strategically rational allocation of resource available to an executive navigating a transition of this magnitude. The question is not whether you can afford to invest in it. It is whether you can afford not to.

The questions executives ask before booking

What executives say about the first conversation

I came in prepared to be pitched. I left with a document that captured my situation more precisely than anything I had produced in three months of managing the transition myself. The session was more useful than most full-day strategy workshops I have attended in my career.

Former Chief Financial Officer — Healthcare, Europe

I had been reluctant to have the conversation for months. The actual experience of it was entirely different from what I had been imagining. Direct, rigorous, and completely without agenda. The output document was on my desk the next morning. I proceeded to a full engagement the following week.

Former Managing Director — Investment Banking, Asia Pacific
