Who we are
Elevate Career is operated by Elevate Management and Services Ltd, a company registered in Hong Kong (“we”, “us”). This policy covers elevatecareer.io and its subdomains, including cv.elevatecareer.io and tools.elevatecareer.io.
We serve clients in more than 40 countries, including many in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where you are located in the EEA or UK, we handle your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For all visitors, we apply the standards described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or your data: cyrille@elevatecareer.io.
Information you provide to us
- Your name and email address, when you subscribe to the Intelligence Briefing, request a Strategy Session, submit an expression of interest to join the practice, or use one of our assessment tools.
- Your responses to diagnostic and assessment questions, and the results generated from them.
- CV documents you upload for the Executive CV Assessment on cv.elevatecareer.io.
- Booking details you provide when scheduling a conversation through our scheduling provider.
Information collected automatically
- Usage events — pages viewed, interactions with our tools, and the campaign parameters (UTM tags) that brought you to the site — recorded in our own analytics database.
- Analytics data collected through Google Analytics cookies (see the cookies section below).
- Technical data such as IP address and browser type, in the server logs of our hosting provider.
How we use your information
- To deliver assessment results and the briefing series you requested.
- To respond to your enquiries and schedule conversations.
- To send you relevant follow-up emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
Under the GDPR, we rely on your consent (for email subscriptions and analytics cookies), the steps needed to respond to your requests (for assessments and bookings), and our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.
AI-assisted assessments
The Executive CV Assessment uses Anthropic’s Claude API to analyse the document you upload and produce your results. Your CV is used solely to generate your assessment. It is not used to train AI models, and it is not retained beyond what is needed to deliver your results to you.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the website, each receiving only the data needed for its role:
- Vercel — website hosting
- Supabase and Neon — databases for events, leads, and assessment results
- Google Analytics — traffic analytics
- Loops and Resend — email delivery
- Acuity Scheduling — booking of conversations
- Anthropic — AI analysis for the CV assessment
International transfers
Your data may be handled in Hong Kong, the European Union, and the United States, where our providers operate. Where required for EEA and UK data, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Contact details remain on our lists until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. CV documents are not retained beyond delivering your assessment. Aggregated analytics that identify no one may be kept longer.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law — including the GDPR for EEA and UK visitors and the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance — you may:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict our use of it.
- Receive a copy in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email cyrille@elevatecareer.io.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to understand site traffic, and your browser’s session storage to remember the campaign that brought you here while you move between pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Children
The website is directed at senior professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
